This freshly formed combo has emerged with a sound that mixes alternate country with folk and swing.
The band are based around Ipswich, Suffolk in the UK.
Mike’s first releases were on Backwater Records with Indie country band Buffalo Road. They toured the UK in the mid-90’s and enjoyed extensive radio play across Europe.
2004 saw an exiting collaboration between Mike and Suffolk based folkies “The Doons”. Formed in the late 90’s and featuring Chris Ratcliffe on bass, Dave Bell on bouzouki and Ivan Armsby on accordion.
They have released an EP on Backwater records entitled “King of Tomorrow”, hailing the return of the ukulele to popular music!, and are recording a full album for release on Backwater towards the end of 2006.
