6th November 2007

We last nights ‘post fire-works’ gig at the Debenham leisure centre was a strange but enjoyable affair, (apart from losing all electrical power 2 minutes into the first song), although our set towards the end of the night diverged somewhat from our norm. See you again soon.

18th October 2007

Sadly Mark - our drummer of some years standing is having to stop playing with the group as a result of a change in his job. We wish him all the best, and he has been a great drummer and inspiration to us.

We are however pleased to be able to announce that the wonderful Mr Steve Webster has agreed to take Marks stool (as it were).

13th October 2005
Some Rain In Ipswich
Sadly the John Peel Day gig on Ipswich Cornhill got hit by the wet weather which has just worked its way over to east Anglia after messing up the rest of the county. The event got cancelled before the end for health and safety reasons. (There was a real danger of the stage roof giving way and dumping several hours worth of water on unsuspecting musicians and their live electrics .. which could end quite badly.)

Unless the Milestone pub gets hit by a tornado, this evenings session should be fine!

7th October 2005
We have the details of the events for John peel day next week (Thursday October 13th). There’ll a gig on the Ipswich Cornhill with the following line-up :-

John Peel11.00am FUZZFACE
11.30am SONGS FROM THE BLUE HOUSE
12.00am DEBS WARREN BAND
12.30pm TUSCAN RAIDERS
1.00pm CAMEL FOOT RAIDERS
1.30pm BLIND POETS
2.00pm ROSALITA
2.30pm CAUTION HORSES

So we are closing the event at 2.30pm

From 8.30pm onwards they’ll be a special a Suffolk Songwriters showcase night at the Milestone. The horses will be doing a 30 minute set at that. See www.suffolksongwriters.co.uk for details.

22nd September 2005
It seems there may be lots of stuff going on on Thursday 13th October. BBC radio Suffolk are apparently organizing a ‘John Peel Day’ event to commemorate the anniversary of the local DJs death, and it seems the horses are to be involved .. which we will obviously be happy and proud to do. More details to follow.

There is also some talk of another John Peel day event in the evening, but that is in the very early stages of planning.
